Yoga is for everyday people — including you.
Terrace Yogshala began with a simple belief: you don't need to be flexible, fit, or experienced to start yoga. You just need a little support — and a reason to show up each day.

Why we exist
Most studios sell classes. We help people build a sustainable yoga lifestyle — combining yoga, accountability, community, and habit-building so 20 minutes a day becomes something you keep, not something you quit.
Hi, I'm the founder of Terrace Yogshala. Like a lot of people, I didn't come to yoga as a natural. I came to it stiff, stressed, and convinced I was "not a yoga person." What changed everything wasn't a perfect pose — it was practising a little every day until it became part of who I am.
Over the years I noticed the same thing again and again: people don't really struggle to learn yoga. They struggle to stay consistent. Life gets busy, motivation fades, and a single missed week turns into a missed month. The poses were never the hard part — showing up was.
So I built Terrace Yogshala around that one problem. Instead of selling one-hour classes, we help everyday people in Dehradun build a calm, lasting yoga habit — through short daily sessions, gentle accountability, and a community that actually cheers you on.
Everyone here started as a beginner. There's no judgement, no competition, and no need to touch your toes on day one. Just a friendly, supportive place to begin — and to keep going.
